After observing birds and ducks for extended
periods, I'm convinced that they are all distinct
individuals. If a person has personality, then a
bird has Birdality. Cardinals are regal and
defensive. Sandpipers are shiftless. Ducks are
enigmatic. Rarely ruffling their feathers while
silently changing direction and speed.
