"Silhouettes" Series
Oils allow me to continue to express myself as I do with pastels, with the
addition of new textures and contrasts.
I find natural contrasts inspiring. The outline of tress against a lavender
sky. Or, hills against a storm. Mountains defining water and air. Birds
staking claim to the trees. Light reflecting in a stream.
